Linda L. Nowell, 76, joined her Heavenly Father on December 7, 2016. She passed away at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, MS. Services are 11:00am Saturday, December 10, 2016 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon with visitation starting at 9:30am Saturday. Interment will follow in Lakewood Memorial Park in Jackson, MS.
Mrs. Nowell was born in Smith County to the late Burl and Flora Sullivan Purvis. Linda was a member of Flowood Baptist Church. She enjoyed working with in her flower gardens and she especially loved spending time with her granddaughter.
She is survived by her daughter, Cynthia Rowell and husband Robert of Brandon, MS; granddaughter, Molly Rowell, her Angel; 2 brothers, Jim Purvis(Janet) of Magee, MS and Ben Purvis (Catherine)of Smith County, MS. She is also survived by many special nieces and nephews. Mrs. Nowell was preceded in death by her husband, James Kennith Nowell.
