Mrs. Linda Henry Sessums was born in Scott County, May 29, 1949. She passed away suddenly at her home in the Harperville community, November 10, 2018 at the age of 69.
Funeral services will begin at 10:00 am on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 from the Ott & Lee Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Don Wilson, Rev. Jason Tillman, and Rev. Bobby McKay officiating. Interment will follow in the Harperville Memorial Park under the direction of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Forest.
Visitation will be from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm on Monday, November 12, 2018 at the funeral home and one hour prior to the services on Tuesday.
Mrs. Sessums will be remembered for her love for her family as well as her loyalty and dedication to her career as a floral designer at Petals & More, Inc. in Forest. Her selfless character and her contagious wit will be remembered by those she came in contact with for generations to come. She was a faithful member of Harperville Baptist Church and especially enjoyed time spent with her Sunday School Class. Her memory will live on in our hearts.
She is preceded in death by her husband: Benjamin F. Sessums, Jr.; her father: Otis Henry and her mother: Odell Sessions Noblin.
Survivors include her three sons: Max (Dale) Sessums of Brandon; Dewayne (Christie) Sessums of Forest and Bennie Sessums of Newton; five grandchildren: Ryan Sessums, Grant Sessums, Bryce Sessums, Paige Sessums, and Kaylie Sessums; four brothers: Mike (Billie) Henry, Lee (Mary Frances) Henry, Jimmy (Sherry) Henry, and Jerry (Shelia) Henry; one sister: Nell (Sam) Tadlock; and many nieces and nephews.
Serving as pallbearers will be Don McDaniel, Randy Cahoon, John Sullivan, Stacy Sessums, Roy Noble Lee, III, and David Benton.
Honorary pallbearers are John McCarty, Joe Bradford, Joey & Candace Holmes, and the Directors & Staff of Ott & Lee Funeral Home.
Memorial donations may be made to the Youth Fund or the Missions Fund at Harperville Baptist Church.
