Linda Shirl Messer, 66, a resident of Cordova, TN passed away Friday, September 2, 2016 in Brandon, MS. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS.
Mrs. Messer was a native of Peoria, IL. She was the daughter of Don Cosgrove and Shirly Colvern. She was married to John D. Messer almost 50 years. Mrs. Messer loved her family very much. She will be missed by all who loved and knew her.
Mrs. Messer was preceded in death by her parents, Don Cosgrove and Shirly Colvern.
Mrs. Messer is survived by her husband of 49 years, John D. Messer; children, John R. (Nancy) Messer, Aaron A. (Alice) Messer and Chris L. (Heidi) Messer; brother, Charles Cosgrove; ten grandchildren, Rachel M. Messer, Samantha Messer, Kyleen N. Messer, Erin M. Messer, Alyssa B. Messer, Rebecca Messer, Emily Messer, Keegan Messer, Ryan Ainsworth, Jeremiah Messer and Bradley Messer; nine great grandchildren, Alexis Messer, Ben Messer Raylan Messer, Carter Ainsworth, Elijah Ainsworth, Ashton Ainsworth, Knox Ainsworth, Justin Messer and Tyler Messer; many other family members and a host of friends.
