Linda Sue Keeton, 71, a resident of Morton died Friday, August 22, 2014 at Magee General Hospital. Funeral services will be held 2 pm Monday, August 25, 2014 at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton with burial in the Sims Hill Cemetery in Morton. Visitation will be held 5-8 pm Sunday, August 24, 2014 at the funeral home. Rev. Keith Keeton will officiate the services. Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton will be in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Keeton was a native of Cullman, AL. She was the daughter of Luther Ellis Stevens, Sr. and Mona Valeria Hanvey Stevens. She was married to Larry “Killer” Keeton. She retired from the Scott Co. Sheriff’s Department after 15 years. Mrs. Keeton loved her family very much and spending time with them brought great joy to her life. She will be missed by all who loved and knew her.
Mrs. Keeton was preceded in death by her parents, Luther Ellis Stevens, Sr. and Mona Valeria Hanvey Stevens; husband, Larry “Killer” Keeton; her infant daughter and brother, Butch Stevens.
Mrs. Keeton is survived by her daughters, Rhenae (Mark) Risher of Pelahatchie and Amanda (Alvin) Willey of Sandhill; sister, Bama S. Strong of Brandon; friend, Andy Schubert of Pulaski; 4 grandchildren, Guy Sledge, Ashlea Sledge, Kimberly Sledge and Mikayla Willey; many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
Serving and honoring Mrs. Keeton as Pallbearers will be Guy Sledge, Brad Risher, Adam Risher, Jake Stevens, Rooster Stevens and Charlie Sledge.
