Lois Ophelia Ansley, 95, a resident of Meridian, passed away Monday October 11, 2010 at Riley Hospital in Meridian following an extended illness.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11am Thursday at the Hillsboro Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Hubert Rutherford will officiate.
Mrs. Ansley was born in Dixon, Ms, on October 10, 1915.
She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Meridian, and a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents Emmitt and Cora Parker and her late husband, William Ansley.
Her survivors include her two children, Danny (Vickie) Ansley of Meridian, and Zaundra (John) Smith of Douglasville, Ga. She also leaves a legacy of 3 grandchildren,
Jason (Michelle) Ansley, Stacy (Kenny) Allen and Shonda (Brett) Meskimen.
Pallbearers will be Wayne Parker, Mark Allen, Josh Parker, Janson Ansley, Kenny Allen and Roger Glover, Jr.
Ott & Lee Funeral Home of Forest is in charge of arrangements,
