Mrs. Lola Mae Massey Long, age 75, a resident of Morton passed away on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at her residence.  Visitation will be held 5pm-8pm Friday, November 16, 2018 at Ott & Lee in Morton.  Funeral services will be held 11am Saturday, November 17, 2018 at the Ott & Lee Chapel in Morton with burial in Two Mile Baptist Cemetery.  Bro. Marty Wilson will officiate the services.  Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton.

Mrs. Long was born in Leesburg on October 15, 1943.  She loved to work in her garden and enjoyed going out to eat Chinese food with her family.  Lola Mae collected unicorns and loved working her word search puzzles. She loved telling jokes and her dog, Trixie was her pride and joy. She will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Long; parents Charlie Ray Massey and Lawana Massey; daughter, Darla J. Peterson; grandson, Jamie Long; siblings, James Massey, Jessie Massey and Fay Gray.

She is survived by her children, Phillip Peterson (Connie) of Morton, Eddie Peterson (Gale) of Lena, Tommy Peterson (Karen) of AR, Debbie Smith (Allen) of Pearl, Dwayne Peterson (Sherry) of AL, Norman Long (Mary Jane) of Brandon and Tony Long (Amanda) of Puckett; brother, Ray Massey (Geraldine) of TX; sister, Jewel Smith of TX; sister-in-law, Faye Sullivan of Morton; brother-in-law, Prentice Long (Vickie) of Holly Bush; special friends, Brenda Huff and Deborah; 17 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren and a host of friends.

Pallbearers will be Anthony Peterson, Timmy Peterson, Claude Westbrooks, Junior Murray, James Westbrooks and Seth Peterson.  Honorary pallbearers will be Tommy Peterson and Bobby Doolie.
