Loretta Palmer

Loretta J. Palmer, a resident of Morton MS, passed from this life on Friday, June 17, 2022, in Jackson MS.

Born to Buford Palmer Sr. and Arlie Jackson Palmer, on October 27, 1952, in Scott County. Loretta worked for the Social Security Administration for twenty plus years. She lived and worked in Florida for many years where she made several friends. After retirement, Loretta moved back to Scott County to be near her only brother, Buford Palmer Jr. Loretta was an avid shopper, she loved NASCAR, her cats and enjoyed going out to eat with family and friends.

Preceded in death, by her parents, Buford Sr., and Arlie Palmer, all her aunts and uncles, nephew, Bryant Palmer. Survived by brother, Buford Palmer Jr. nephew, Mark Palmer, his wife Leann, several nieces and nephews, and a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will 4:30pm to 7:00pm Wednesday, June 22, 2022, at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton, MS. Funeral Services will be 11:00am Thursday, June 23, 2022, at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton, MS. Burial will follow in Springfield Baptist Church Cemetery.
