Lori W. Langford, 51 fought a valiant 5 year battle with Triple Negative Breast Cancer and on Monday June 6, 2016 while at home our loving Lord wrapped his arms around her and took her pain away. Lori was born in Valdosta, GA and has been a resident of Brandon, MS since 1975. She was a member of Hangar Church in Brandon, MS.
Lori was previously the Director of Member Services /Finance for the Mississippi Association of Supervisors. In recent years she has enjoyed spending time with her large family, friends and soaking up the sun by her pool. She was a very loving and devoted wife and mother, who will be greatly missed.
Lori is survived by her husband, Kevin and son, Austin; parents, Joe and Jean McCreary; sister, Teresa Merchant (Roger); two brothers, Harold Wright and Joe McCreary (Holly), many nieces and nephews whom she adored and her faithful four legged companion Lucy. She is preceded in death by her father Wilburn Wright Sr.; grandparents, Lee and Bernice Marshall and Joe and Vivian McCreary and her great niece, Micah Jo Hila Merchant.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday June 7, 2015 from 5pm – 7pm at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Funeral Services are 2pm on Wednesday June 8, 2016 at the Ott & Lee Funeral Home Chapel in Brandon, MS with burial to follow in the Crestview Memorial Gardens in Brandon, MS.
