Mrs. Louann T. Webb, age 82, and a resident of Forest, died Thursday, May 4, 2017 at Woodland Court Personal Care Center in Newton.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3:30pm Sunday May 7, 2017 from the Forest Presbyterian Church with interment in the Eastern Cemetery. Visitation will also be held from 2pm til the service time at the church with Pastor Mark Smith officiating. Music will be provided by Irene Martin.
Mrs. Webb was born Thursday, November 25, 1934 to her parents Henry Albert Thompson and Ramah Donnis Ashley Thompson in Columbia, MS. She married Mr. William E. Webb. After living in Batesville, MS they moved to Forest in 1963. She was a faithful member of the Forest Presbyterian Church. She was an example of a Proverbs 31 woman. She loved her husband, and family. She enjoyed visiting with friends and loved to participate in activities with her church family. She will be greatly missed by her family and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her husband, William E. “Billy” Webb, 2 daughters; Karen W. Blossom and husband Bill, Leslie W. Grove and husband Jim all of Forest. She also leaves behind a legacy of 8 grandchildren; Michael William Blossom and wife Tanya, Dr. Benjamin David Blossom and wife Amy, Rebecca Ann Alves and husband Alex, Dr. Jonathan Ashley Blossom and wife Mary Catherine, Elizabeth Carol Looser and husband Trip, Amy Elizabeth Grove, NP-BC, Sgt. David Christopher Grove and wife Tabitha and Jennifer Ann Grove; and 7 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Bill Blossom, Jim Grove, Mike Blossom, Benjamin Blossom, . Jonathan Blossom and David Grove.
