Carpenter and Sarah Burnley Carpenter in Cedartown, Georgia and is survived by one daughter, Renee Carpenter Folse (Greg) of Sunset, LA, grandsons, Shea Michael Sibley, Lafeyette, LA, Gregory Folse, Jr., Monroe, LA, granddaughter, Amanda Folse, Lafayette, LA, sister, Linda Carpenter Harrell (Freddy) of Brandon, MS, nephew, Bradley Michael Shumaker (Carissa) of Olive Branch, MS, nieces, Melanie Harrell Garner (Joe) of Madison, MS and Melissa Harrell, of Brandon, MS, great niece, Mariella Marie Shumaker of Olive Branch, MS and a great number of aunts, uncles and cousins who he loved very much.

Louis was truly a “unique” person and was a retired self-employed business owner. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and lover of God’s great outdoors. His earthly passion was the pursuit of trophy whitetail deer, of which he collected many.

Louis was a member of Brandon Baptist Church where he met his Savior at age 69 and a member of the Wayne and Tommie Lou Ball Sunday School Class.

It was remarked that although he died in “Sunset” (Louisiana), he awoke to a new morning and a new “Sonrise” in heaven by publically confessing his faith in the resurrection of Jesus as Lord and Savior of his life. (Romans 10: 9, 10)

Memorials may be made to the Brandon Baptist Church Building fund at 100 Brandon Baptist Drive, Brandon, Mississippi 39042
