Louise Tadlock Harris, 97, of Forest, MS, passed away Friday, March 31, 2017 at Lackey Convalescent Home in Forest. She worked as a floral designer at Mapp’s Florist in Forest nearly 50 years, retiring in 2013. Visitation will be 1:30 pm-2:45pm Sunday, April 2, 2017 at Forest United Methodist Church with services to follow at 3 pm. Burial will be in Hillsboro Baptist Church Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon H. Harris, Sr.; parents, C. Taylor Tadlock, Jessie McEwen Tadlock (mother), Clara Sigrest Tadlock (stepmother) and sister, Miriam T. Bounds. She is survived by her sister, Helen T. Lee of Forest; daughter, Brenda H. McLemore (James) of Carthage, son, V. Harold Harris, Jr. (Deborah-deceased) of Brandon; grandchildren, Lauren M. Pearson (Paul) of Brandon and Amanda S. Harris of Pearl; great-grandchildren, Palmer Gray Pearson and Sara Reed Pearson; nieces, Jamie Martin (Randy), Leatha Upshaw (Banks), Anna Beth Cox (Charlie), Dayna Watkins (Jeff) and Dana Bounds Lang.
Pallbearers are Paul Pearson, Randy Martin, Lee Martin, Craig Martin, Charlie Cox and Daniel Lang. Honorary pallbearers are Jeff Watkins, Mason Watkins Palmer Pearson and Wes Cox.
