Louise “Weezie” Huffman Cross Roads Community Mattie Louise “Weezie” Huffman, age 77,a resident of the Cross Roads Community passed away on Thursday, December 22, 2016 at her residence. Her visitation was held 5-8pm Friday, December 23, 2016 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton. Funeral services were held 2pm Saturday, December 24, 2016 at the Ott & Lee Funeral Home Chapel in Morton with burial in Cross Roads Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. John Vaughn officiated the services. Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton. Mrs. Huffman was born in Scott County on June 28, 1939. She loved to sew and loved to be outdoors fishing. Louise enjoyed playing penny slots and spoiling and loving her little dog, Smut. Family was special to her and she will never be forgotten by her loved ones. She is preceded in death by her parents, Clarence Waltman and Ruby Lee Bates Waltman; husband, Clyde Huffman, Jr.; 2 grandchildren, Stacy Martin and Christopher Wilbanks; brother, Buster Waltman and son-in-law, Michael Martin. She is survived by her 3 children, Sandra Harrell (David) of Clifton, Elizabeth Guy of Pelahatchie and Waymon Parker (Lori) of Pelahatchie; brother, Frank Waltman (Peggy) of Oklahoma; 8 grandchildren, Crissy (Ray) Herrington, Brian (Leslie) Martin, Christopher (Allison) Harrell, Chris (Amanda) Guy, Ginger (Sergio) Cruz, Cameron (Kristen) Parker, Seth (April) Richards and Kayla (Jonathan) Watkins; 9 great grandchildren, Haleigh Herrington, Staci Herrington, Jesse Clark, Mason Harrell, Kassie Guy, Justin Guy, Aiden Guy, Gabby Cruz and Lane Watkins; and a host of friends. Pallbearers were J.B. Franklin, Brian Hall, Tony Henry, Bubba Parker, Seth Richards and Jonathan Watkins. Honorary pallbearers were Rory Moore and Pete Waltman. Memorials may be made in her name to the Cross Roads Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
