Lucille Latham

November 29, 1916 — February 28, 2018

Graveside services will be conducted  at 2pm Sunday March 4, 2018 at the Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery north of Morton.  Rev. Matt Armstrong will officiate.

Visitation will be held from 12pm to 1pm  Sunday  March 4, 2018 at Ott &  Lee Funeral  Home in Forest.

Mrs. Latham was born  November 29, 1916 in Homewood to her parents, C.A. Anderson and Fannie Hammonds Anderson.  She enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, bird watching and spending time with her family.    Her life was a reflection of Proverbs 31.  She loved her family and helping others in need.  She was known for her loving encouragement to others.  She was a remarkable lady who fulfilled the scriptures living to  be 101 years old.   For several years her home was the Mississippi Care Center in Morton where she was loved and cared for. She will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband John A. Latham and six children, Mike Latham, Floyd Latham, Billy Latham, Mary Derrick, Jo Ann Bagley and Dorothy Hamilton.

Survivors include her three children, Janie Lott, (Billy Wayne) of Lake, Ezell "Bud" Latham of Canton  and Sammie Latham of Baton Rouge, LA.  one brother Malcolm Anderson of Morton. She leaves a legacy of several grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers are Richard Harrison, Billy Joe Lott, David Lott, Chris Bagley, Sam Lott and honorary pallbearer Marshall Massey.
