Mrs. Lucille Hill Walker, age 86, a resident of Jackson but formerly of Scott County, passed away on Monday, November 29, 2010 at Scott Regional Hospital in Morton. Graveside services were held 10am Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at Hodge Hill Cemetery in Morton with Rev. John Miles and Dr. Clarence Cooper officiating. Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton.

Mrs. Walker is a native of Scott County and had lived in Jackson for the past 40 years. She worked at the Talon Zipper Plant in Morton for many years. Lucille was a member of Daniel Lake Memorial Baptist Church in Jackson and loved her church and Sunday School Class very much. She was a very dedicated New Orleans Saints Fan and loved to be outside working in her garden and yard. Lucille loved her family very much and will be missed by all who loved and knew her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Fred Edward Hill and Kate Effie Wallace Hill; 2 sons, Donald Ray Walker and Larry Allen Walker; brother, Fred Edward Hill Jr. and sister, Nina B. Banks.

She is survived by her children, Cheryl Lucretia Lott of Brandon and Nicky Walker (Laura Jane) of White Oak; 3 sisters, Clorine Dubose of Morton, Martha Langford of Nashville, TN and Katie Palmer of Pearl; 7 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
