BURIAL: NEW COVENANT CHURCH CEMETERY IN HARRISVILLE
VISIT: 2-6 PM SUNDAY, JANUARY 1 AND 12 NOON MONDAY UNTIL SERVICE TIME AT OTT AND LEE IN RICHLAND
Mack Julius Boyte, 85, died Thursday, December 29, 2011 at the VA Medical Center in Jackson, MS.
Visitation will be Sunday, January 1, 2012 from 2 – 6 pm and Monday, January 2, 2012 from 12 Noon – 2 pm at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Richland, MS. Funeral Services are 2 pm Monday, January 2, 2012 from the Chapel of Ott & Lee Funeral Home with burial to follow in the New Covenant Church Cemetery in Harrisville, MS.
Mr. Boyte was a native of Brookhaven, MS and had been a longtime resident of Florence, MS. He was a World War II Veteran having served in the U.S. Army. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, and grandfather.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons; a sister; and three brothers.
Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Shirley Johnson Boyte of Florence, MS; seven children; 32 grandchildren; 57 great grandchildren; 9 great great grandchildren; and one brother
