Mr. Manuel  S. Gaytan, age 69, a resident of Morton passed away on Sunday, April 1, 2018 at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson.  Visitation will be held 12pm-4pm Saturday, April 7, 2018 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton.  Services will be held 4pm Saturday from the Ott & Lee Chapel in Morton.  Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton.

Mr. Gaytan was born in Dallas, TX on November 20, 1948.  He loved his dogs and enjoyed sitting outside on his porch.  Manuel enjoyed riding around in his white truck.  He will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.

He is preceded in death by his father, Manuel Gaytan and step daughter, Dilma Zuniga Esquivel.

He is survived by his wife, Julia Zuniga Gaytan of Morton; mother, Marcelina Sandoval Murillo of Mexico; 5 children, Cayetano Ovalle of Morton, Marcos Rocha of Aurora, IL, Sara Rangel-Ramos of Morton, Daniel Rocha of Morton and Melissa Gaytan of Pharr, TX; 3 sisters, Maria Reyes of Dallas, TX, Josefina O. Alvarado of Durango, Mexico and Josefina Gaytan of Durango, Mexico; 4 brothers, Felix Gaytan of Dallas, TX, Ricardo Gaytan of Dallas, TX,  Jose Gaytan of Dallas, TX and Arturo Gaytan of Durango, Mexico; 17 grandchildren, Monalisa Owens, Vanessa Rocha, Dolores Julisa Valdez, Cynthis Rocha, Edwin Valdez, Carolina Esquival, Lizette Rocha, A.J. Ramos, Alexander Ramos, Myhia Rocha, Reyna Esquivel, Nevaeh Rocha, Leilani Dilma Rocha, Iris Chavera, Daisy Briones, Lisa Marie Guerrero and Carrie Anna Guerrero; 5 great grandchildren, Elijah Echols, Daniel Alegria, Eveylin Rose Rocha, Kamila Meza and Mayelie Meza; a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
