Margaret E. Odom, 82, passed away on Sat. Feb. 8, 2025 at the Woodlands Rehab Center in Clinton, MS. A graveside service will be held at 1pm on Thurs. Feb. 13, 2025 at County Line Community Cemetery in Glen Allan, MS. Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS is handling arrangements.

Mrs. Odom was born in Greenville, MS on Nov. 18, 1942, to the late John Homer McClain and Betty Belle Mallette McClain. She was preceded in death by her husbands James Ellis Toler of Greenville (1994), and Louie Odom of Brandon (2017). She is survived by her 5 children, Deanne Toler McNatt, James Richard Toler, Phillip (Marty) Odom, Davis Odom and Steve Odom (Sondra); grandchildren, Christopher Breazeale, Joshua Breazeale, Ryan Toler, Lindsey Toler, McClain Toler, Paulina Conder, Jon-Brooks Almand, Christine Odom, Aaron Odom (Melissa), Rebecca Rossi (PJ), Allie Kennedy (Grant), Steven Odom (Staci), Karey Ostrander (David) and her great grandchildren, Mary Maldonado, Ramsey Odom, Tallulah Rossi, Atticus Rossi, Ezra Kennedy, Iris Kennedy, Emma Odom, Cooper Odom, Everette Ostrander, William Ostrander, and two sisters, Mildred Little of Greenwood, LA and Jamie Ross of Utica, MS.

Margaret was a kind and generous soul who always put others' needs before her own. She was the heart and soul of her family, the one who held us all together with her boundless love and support. She dedicated her life to her family and friends. She was always available when anyone needed a listening ear or a big warm hug. She was a longtime faithful member of Crossgates Baptist church. You could always spot Margaret on the front row of the choir joyfully praising her Lord & Savior!! She loved her church family and was active in various ministries throughout the church and community. Margaret was an avid reader, loved to cook and she always looked forward to her Domino game nights. She will be greatly missed by her family and everyone who was blessed to have known her.
