Margaret Ann Anderson

Margaret Ann Flowers Anderson, 80, passed away Sun. July 9, 2017 at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland, MS. Visitation will be held on Wed. July 12, 2017 from 5pm-7pm at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS and on Thurs. July 13, 2017 from 10am-10:45am at Crossgates United Methodist Church in Brandon, MS. Funeral Services are 11am on Thurs. July 13, 2017 at Crossgates United Methodist Church in Brandon, MS with a 2:30pm graveside service to follow at Pine Bluff-Dentville Cemetery in Copiah County, MS.
Mrs. Anderson was born in Ackerman, MS, grew up in Jackson, MS and was a longtime resident of Brandon, MS. She was a very active member of Crossgates United Methodist Church in Brandon, MS where she did a lot of volunteer work and was a member of the Friendship Sunday School Class and the Ruth Circle for United Methodist Women. Mrs. Anderson was involved with senior citizens groups in Brandon, MS and Pearl, MS and she also loved to read. Most of all, Mrs. Anderson loved spending time with family and friends.
She is survived by her two children, Donna Wilson and Brian Anderson (wife-Misty); three grandchildren, Amy Wilson, Jason Wilson and Ashton Anderson; five great grandchildren, Joseph Stevens, Jody Stevens, Edward Stevens, Breelyn Wilson, Caroline Wilson and many nieces, nephews and friends. Mrs. Anderson was preceded in death by her two husbands, Frank Anderson and Jimmy Whitehead and her brother, Pearson “Buck” Flowers Jr.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Crossgates United Methodist Church Memorial Fund at 23 Crossgates Dr. Brandon, MS 39042.
