Margarette (Polly) Milling went to be with our Lord Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at age 89, in her home in Brandon, MS. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 11, 2011 from 6 – 8 pm and Saturday, November 12, from 10 - 11 am at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 11 am from the Chapel of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon with burial to follow at Erin Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Newton County at 1:30 pm.
Mrs. Milling was born in Newton County on December 22, 1921. She lived in Jackson MS for over 50 years and currently resided in Brandon MS since 1996.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Harlon Milling.
She is survived by her children, Deborah Ann Haynes of Byram, MS and Mary Jo Milling of Brandon, MS; her brother, O’Neal Vance of Decatur, MS; grandchildren, Rebecca Ann Brewer and John E. Haynes; a great granddaughter, Lillian Breann Brewer; and several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
The family would like to extend our gratitude to Dr. Kevin Heintzelmen, the doctors and nurses at Baptist Medical Center and Hospice Ministries for their caring services. A special thank you to Pam McCleave for her services.
