Margie Johnston Alexander, 81, passed away on Monday, April 5, 2021, at her home.  Visitation will be 9am – 10:45am Thursday, April 8, 2021, at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS.  Funeral services will follow at 11am in the chapel of the funeral home.  Interment will be at Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Pearl, MS.

Mrs. Alexander was born in Leake County, MS on May 5, 1939, to Andy Johnston and Lessie Jackson Johnston.  She was longtime member of Park Place Baptist Church where she was very involved with Mission ministries, Evangelism through Faith, and the Christmas Store Ministry.  She was considered a “Care Giver”, where she especially loved helping at nursing homes.

Margie loved working in her flower gardens, especially her roses.  She loved her family very much, especially her 3 grandchildren and great grandson.

Survivors include her husband, Louis Alexander of Pearl, MS; son, Nick (Susan) Alexander of Pearl, MS; daughter, Angie Clark of Madison, MS; sister, Cindy (Mike) Kelly and brother, Herman (Lethalia) Johnston all of Gulfport, MS; 3 grandchildren, Blake (Rebecca) Alexander of Pearl, MS, Brad (Amanda) Alexander of Pensacola, FL and Ashton Clark of Starkville, MS; and her great grandson, Parker Hawkings Alexander.

Memorials may be made to Park Place Baptist Church or the American Lung Association.
