Marie Carr Wells, beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother passed away peacefully at home on October 22, 2024. She was born on August 3, 1926, in Neshoba County to James T and Vera Carr.

She is survived by son, Garvis Wells, his children, son Thomas Wells and daughters, Amanda (Matthew) Carpenter and the late Joel Brady. Twins Pam Wells and her children Scott (Dorthe) Holley and Karen Shefield and Thomas Carr Wells, his daughter Angie (Dean) Barnard. And a host of great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on October 23, 2024, from 5pm to 7pm at Ott and Lee in Brandon. Graveside Services will be held at Lakewood Memorial Park in Clinton at 1pm on October 24, 2024. Brother Dean Barnard will officiate. 

The family would like to express their gratitude to all the staff of Gentiva Hospice for the compassionate and kind care they provided.
