Marion Green Tatum

Marion Green Tatum, 70, passed away at Brandon Court Nursing Home.  Visitation will be 1:00pm until 2:00pm Sunday, December 3, 2023, at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS.  Funeral services will follow at 2:00pm in the chapel of the funeral home. 

Marion was born in Jackson, MS on January 10, 1953, to Merideth Wells Tatum and Georgia Sanders Tatum.  He was a member of Parkway Baptist Church formerly in Jackson, MS.  Marion received his bachelor's degree from William Carey College. He worked until his retirement at Martin Head Start Center in Jackson, MS. 

Survivors include his brothers, Merideth W. Tatum, Jr. and his wife, Julie and Joseph S. Tatum and his wife Anita; sister, Adelia T. Lee and her husband, Peter; he is also survived by nieces and nephews, Peter Lee, Jr., Sara Lee, Mark Lee, Joshua Marion Tatum, and Elizabeth Marie Tatum.  He was preceded in death by his parents and a niece, Heather Danielle Tatum.
