Marjorine "Margie" Tolleson

Marjorine Moore Owens Tolleson, age 88 of Brandon, passed away on Monday, August 13, 2018 at St. Dominic Hospital.

Funeral services will be Friday, August 17, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Ott and Lee Funeral Home, Brandon. Graveside services will follow at 3:45 pm in the old Cash Cemetery in Lena, MS. Visitation will be Thursday, August 16, 2018 from 5:30 pm until 7:30pm at Ott and Lee Funeral Home, Brandon.

Margie was born in Lena, MS to the late Lawrence Edwin Moore and Nora Adine Brooks Moore on June 30, 1930.

She was a Homemaker, a lifelong resident of MS and Rankin County. She loved animals, cross stitching, cooking and flowers. She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Luther “Jack” Owens and her husband, Fred Tolleson; and son, Randy Owens.

Margie is survived by her children, Robert Owens (Jerrolyn), Donald Owens (Glenda), and Kaye Waelde (Charlie); 9 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; brother, Rex Moore (Deborah); and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Rankin County Sheriff Office Animal Shelter, Sheriff Bryan Bailey “Paws for a cause” or First Baptist Church Brandon Building Fund.
