Mark Mcgee

Mark Alec McGee, age  53, a lifelong resident of Forest, died Thursday, May 30, 2019.  No services are scheduled.

He was born on Friday, December 17, 1965, in Jackson, MS to his parents, J.L. McGee and Mary Nell Vance McGee.  Mark had many friends and acquaintances in the Forest and Newton area.

He had retired recently from Lazy Boy in Newton.  He enjoyed collecting knives, cigarette lighters and working on small engines.  He also enjoyed working on cars and trucks.  He loved the outdoors.  He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Mark was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his brother, Gary McGee of Lawrence and several other family members.

Services were provided by OTT & LEE Funeral Home in Forest.
