Marlana Holland King, 26, passed away Tues. May 25, 2010 at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, MS. Funeral Services are 3pm. Fri. May 28, 2010 at the Fannin Methodist Church in Fannin, MS. Interment will follow in the Fannin Methodist Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thurs. May 27, 2010 from 5pm.-8pm. and Fri. May 28, 2010 from 10am.-12pm. at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Visitation will also be held Fri. May 28, 2010 from 2pm. until service time at Fannin Methodist Church.
Marlana was born in Grenada, MS. and has lived most of her life in Brandon. She was a nurse in the ER at the St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, MS. Marlana loved to write, play with children and pets, and also enjoyed pottery. She was a very compassionate and loving person who always put others first.
She is survived by her husband, Roy King of Brandon, MS.; her mother, Debbie Peatross and husband Ed of Brandon, MS.; her father, Cliff Holland and wife June of Carlton, MS.; her maternal grandmother, Grace Pee and husband Raymond of Kosciusko, MS.; her paternal grandmother, Bettye Holland of Holcomb, MS.; her brother, James Holland of Flowood, MS. and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
