Marsha Thomas

Marsha D. Thomas, age 76, a resident of Pearl, MS passed away Monday, January 11, 2021 at Merit Health Rankin in Brandon, MS. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Visitation will be held 2-4 pm Thursday at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. All are welcome to attend we will be observing social distancing and we ask all that attend wear a mask.

Mrs. Thomas was born September 22, 1944 in Yazoo City, MS to A.L. Davenport and Bessie Guffey Davenport. She was married to Leo K. Thomas. Mrs. Thomas enjoyed working as a homemaker for her husband and daughter. She was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church in Pearl, MS. She will be remembered by her family as a loving and faithful wife, loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed reading during her quite time. She will be missed by all who loved and knew her.

Mrs. Thomas was preceded in death by her husband, Leo K. Thomas and her parents, A.L. Davenport and Bessie Guffey Davenport.

Mrs. Thomas is survived by her daughter, Laura (Tyler) Dickerson; grandchildren, Taylor Bradshaw, Tana Bradshaw, Dalilah Dickerson; brother, Gene Davenport; nephews, Courtney Thomas and Will Davenport; many other family and a host of friends.
