Martha Miles

April 6, 1932 — March 8, 2017

Martha Ann Winstead Miles, 84, passed away Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at MS Care Center in Morton where she resided for many years.Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at 2:00 pm from the Ott and Lee Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gary Glazier and Rev. Keith Keeton officiating. Interment to follow at Pulaski Independent Methodist Cemetery under the direction of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton.
Visitation will be held Friday, March 10, 2017 from 5:00 pm-8:00 pm and on Saturday from 12:00 pm – 1:45 pm at the funeral home.
Ann was born on April 6, 1932, in Morton to the late Charles Judson and Eva Rochester Winstead of Morton. She was a lifelong resident of Morton and was a member of Morton United Methodist Church. She enjoyed playing piano, sewing, cooking, fishing, and coloring. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Judson Winstead and Eva Winstead; her loving husband Billy R. Miles; one daughter: Melinda Miles Stegall, and two grandchildren: Diana Miles and Ben Stegall; sister, Frances Tucker and brother, Cecil Winstead.
Survivors include two children, Joanne Miles Keeton (Lindsley) and William "Billy Mack" Miles; grandchildren, Kelly Keeton Moore (Montie), Keith Keeton (Emily), Dr. Kevin Keeton (Nancy), and Katie Miles; six great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend special thanks to the staff at MS Care Center for the compassionate care they provided Ann over the years she resided there. She was described as the “Belle of the Ball” while a resident there and they always embraced her big personality and loved her for it.
