Martin Delacruz

September 12, 1969 — August 13, 2021

Brandon, MS

Martin DeLaCruz is now a greeter - shaking hands, smiling and welcoming new members in his new church home in Heaven.

Party Marty was his nickname for those who knew and loved him, and it completely exemplified everything about him. Marty was adored by his wife and daughters, cherished by his family and friends but most of all, Marty was sold out and committed to his relationship with Jesus.

Martin Ruben Delacruz was born in Fresno, California, on September 12, 1969, and went to be with the Lord on August 13th, 2021, at just 51 years old. He lived for adventure and traveling the world, especially with his family, and passed his love of travel and culture down to his girls.

Marty is survived by the love of his life Jen Delacruz, and their four daughters - Sophie (17), Livvy (14), Laina (13) and Mila (6) and another daughter, Emma (23), from a previous marriage. He is also survived by his mother Irene Arias and stepfather John Arias, as well as his father Ruben DeLaCruz and his stepmother, Judy DeLaCruz. He is also survived by his sisters Sonia DeLaCruz Rodriguez, Tamara Arias Lainez, and Tiffany Arias as well as many nieces and nephews.

He spent most of his career selling software and most recently was the Director of Sales at Entelo.  However, his favorite and most successful job was as a husband and father. For those who have encountered Marty, his contagious smile and love for the Lord simply brightened their day; they walked away better than they began.

In his honor and in line with his passionate heart, the family requests that in lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Hispaniola Mountain Ministries at http://gohmm.org.

Please join us for a Celebration of Life on Saturday, August 21st, 10am, at The Venue at Pinelake Church in Brandon, MS.
