Marvis Ann McGraw Smith, 75, passed away on Saturday, May 23, 2015 at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland, MS. Services are 1pm Monday, May 25, 2015, at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, with burial in New Good Hope Cemetery in Pulaski, MS.

Mrs. Smith was born in Scott County on December 27, 1939 to John and Essie Robinson McCraw. She was a longtime member of Pearl United Methodist Church and she was a receptionist at First Baptist Church of Pearl, where she dearly loved caring for and ministering to the people of the church. She enjoyed listening to gospel music and going to singings.

She is survived by her son and daughter –in-law, David & Lisa Smith of Pearl; sister, Janice Kyzar; brothers, Dan McCraw and Wilson McCraw; grandchildren, Chase (Brittany) Smith and Christian Smith and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Joe Smith and her parents, John W. and Essie Robinson McCraw.
