Mrs. Mary Evelin Adcock was born in Smith County, Mississippi to her parents: Henry Hubert and Lodena Hilda Primm Stewart on March 15, 1944. She passed away at the Magee General Hospital on Monday, October 5, 2020 at the age of 76.
A graduate of Burns High School, Mrs. Adcock enjoyed the simplicities of life providing her home with love, laughter, warmth, and compassion. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Times spent exercising her faith in her Savior, her enjoyment of flowers, and being with her family were times that she cherished most. She was a member of Sardis Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lennis Austin Adcock in 1999; her daughter-in-law: Sarah Renee Hall; and seven of her siblings.
Survivors include her children: Kenneth Hall, Terry Hall and Frank (Tracie) Adcock; one grandson: Brylon Adcock; numerous step grandchildren, special mention of Austin Adcock; one special little girl: Myka Duckworth; three sisters: Brenda Knowles, Bonnie Hutchinson, and Betty Stewart; three brothers: Roy, Robert, and Ollie Stewart; a host of nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 4830 McWillie Cir, Jackson, MS 39206 or the American Lung Association, 438 Katherine Dr., Flowood, MS 39232
Ott & Lee Funeral Home, 295 E. First St., Forest, served the Adcock family.
