Mary Alford

Mary Sue Alford, 91, retired from Blue Cross, went home to be with the Lord on Wed. July 29, 2015 at Brandon Court Nursing Home in Brandon, MS from complications of Alzheimer’s Disease. Visitation will be held on Sat. Aug. 1, 2015 from 9am-10am at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Graveside Services are 11am Sat. Aug. 1, 2015 at the Terry Cemetery in Terry, MS.
Mrs. Alford is preceded in death by her husband and best friend, Dudley W. Alford, USAF; her loving parents, Irvin and Laura Matthews, and her brother, John Matthews.
She is survived by her son, John D. Alford (Sherry); daughter, Cynthia “Cindy” Alford Lewis, and two grandchildren, Robert and Richard Lewis.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Trace Ridge Baptist Church at 238 Lake Harbour Dr. Ridgeland, MS 39157.
