Mary Ugene Bohrn, 85, passed away Sun. Dec. 11, 2016 at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland, MS. Visitation will be held on Wed. Dec. 14, 2016 from 5pm-7pm at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Richland, MS and on Thurs. Dec. 15, 2016 from 10am-10:45am at First United Methodist Church in Richland, MS. Funeral Services are 11am on Thurs. Dec. 15, 2016 at First United Methodist Church in Richland, MS with burial to follow in Springridge United Methodist Church Cemetery in Byram, MS.
Mrs. Bohrn was born in Cheyenne, WY, a resident of Dafter, MI for 55 years and a winter resident of Richland, MS for the past 25 years. She was an active member of Dafter Presbyterian Church in Dafter, MI and attended First United Methodist Church in Richland, MS where she also sang in the choir. Mrs. Bohrn enjoyed cooking, especially baking, traveling, reading and spending time with her family.
Mrs. Bohrn is survived by her husband, William Earl “Bill” Bohrn; three children, Cindy Brogan (John), Kim Barnes (Rick) and Brad Bohrn; sister, Dorothy Krick; brother, Peter Valora; 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Mrs. Bohrn is preceded in death by two daughters, Tammie Brown and Debbie Bohrn; parents, Preston and Mable Valora; one sister and four brothers.
