Mrs. Derrick is a native of Smith County. She has lived in Morton for 38 years. Her lifetime of helping people began when she graduated Gilfoy School of Nursing at Baptist Hospital in Jackson. Mrs. Mary was Director of Nursing at Ms. Care Center in Morton for 15 years and Assistant Director of Nursing at Scott Regional Hospital in Morton for about 10 years.
