Mary Joy Farquhar, 80, went
to be with her Lord on Friday, August 2, 2013 at St. Dominic Hospital in
Jackson, MS. Memorial Services are
Friday, August 9, 2013 at 1 pm at Crossgates United Methodist Church in
Brandon, MS.



Mary was born on December 22,
1932 in Columbus, Ohio to the the late Dallas Clinton Carlock and Evelyn Mae
Fleming Carlock. She had been a resident
of Brandon, MS for forty years. A sweet,
nice lady, Mary enjoyed cooking and sharing her goods with others. She was a member of Crossgates United
Methodist Church where she was active in the Church Circles. She loved arts and crafts and the bridge
clubs she was a member of .



She was preceded in death by
her husband, Robert Morris Farquhar, Jr.



Survivors include three
children, Linda Elias (Richard) and their children, Chad Elias (Liz), Drew
Elias (Shannon), and Brittany Elias, Richard Farquhar (Barbara) and their
children, Matthew Farquhar and William Farquhar, and Diana Cone (Carl) and
their children, David Cone, Aaron Cone, and Todd Cone; one sister, Lois Kelser
(Lee) of Columbus, Ohio; one brother, Donald Carlock (Ruth) of Columbus, Ohio;
and one sister in law, Jeanie Farquhar of Columbus, Ohio; and many nieces and
nephews.
