Mary A. Hendricks, 62, passed away on Sunday, June 5, 2011 at her home. Visitation will be 5 pm until 9 pm Tuesday, June 7, at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon. Services are 10 am Wednesday, June 8, 2011 in the chapel of the funeral home with burial in Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Pearl.
Mrs. Hendricks was born in Raleigh MS on May 25, 1949 to Hulon Leslie Arender and Mamie Estelle Sullivan Arender. She was a member of Southside Assembly of God on Robinson Road. Her grandchildren were her life. She loved reading her Bible, praying and Southern Gospel Music.
Survivors include her husband, Arthur R. Hendricks; 3 children, Pamela A. FitzGerald (Paul T.) of Hattiesburg, April H. Layton (Chris Sr.) of Cabot, AR, and Patrick D. Barrett (Courtney L.) of Port Deposit, MD; siblings, Daisy Wood, Paul Arender, Dimple Jones, Lanell Ashley and Alice Anding; and 10 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Leslie Arender and Donald Ray Arender.
In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Southside Assembly of God, Building Fund, 665 Raymond Road, Jackson, MS 39204.
