Mary Ross Hill, 84, passed away Sun. March 23, 2014 at the Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson, MS. Visitation will be held Mon. March 24, 2014 from 5pm-8pm at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Funeral Services are 2pm Tues. March 25, 2014 at the funeral home with burial in the Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Pearl, MS.
Mrs. Hill was born Aug. 8, 1929 in Prentiss, MS and has been a resident of Pearl, MS since July 1999. She was a member of Pinelake Church in Brandon, MS and was also a member of the Eastern Star. Mrs. Hill enjoyed cooking and gardening and she retired from Junior Food Mart Inc. as an executive secretary.
She is survived by her daughter, Pam Kirby and her husband Mike of Brandon, MS; two sons, David Hill of Collierville, TN and Larry Hill and his wife Becky of Pearl, MS; her grandchildren, Brian Kirby and his wife Kelly of Madison, MS, Brittany Cariker and her husband Heath of Brandon, MS, Bradley R. Hill of Louisville, KY, Stephanie P. Hill of Sherwood, AR and Michelle Hastings and her husband Clay; her great-grandchildren, Olivia Owen Kirby and Caroline Laden Kirby and many nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to give a special thanks to Dr. William T. Williams, Dr. Chris Waterer and the doctors and staff at the Mississippi Baptist Medical Center.
