Mary Howerton

Mary Elizabeth Howerton, 64, a resident of Brandon, MS passed from death to eternal life with her Savior, Jesus Christ, Friday, September 14, 2018 at Brandon Nursing and Rehabilitation in Brandon, MS. A memorial service will be held 11 am Monday, September 17, 2018 at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Visitation will be held from 10-11 am Monday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Howerton was born August 10, 1954 to Thomas Draughn and Ethel Gardner Draughn. She was married to Frank Howerton. Mrs. Howerton previously worked for Zedi USA many years before retiring. She enjoyed gospel music and spending time with family and friends. She loved her grandson, Drew, who she referred to as her little gentleman. She was very devoted to her faith in the Lord. She will be missed by all who loved and knew her.

Mrs. Howerton is preceded in death by her husband, Frank Howerton; parents, Thomas Draughn and Ethel Gardner Draughn and her brother, Larry Draughn.

Mrs. Howerton is survived by her daughter, Angy (Glen) Singletary; stepson, Jeff Howerton; grandson Drew Singletary; brother, David (Kim) Draughn; sister-in-law, Shirley Draughn; 5 Nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
