Mary Smith age 78, a resident of Polkville passed away Wednesday February 13 at home surrounded by family. She loved to cook and spending with her family brought her great joy.
Preceded in death was her parents, A. J. and Myrits Pennington; husband, Daniel Smith; brother, Johnny Pennington; granddaughter, Katrina Lamonte, grandson, Joseph Phillips.
Survived by one daughter, Glinda Atwood husband Brian; four sons, Lamar Phillips, Mike Phillips, wife Karol, Robby Phillips, wife Linda and Jimmy Langston; one sister, Sylba Russell.
Visitation will be Friday from 4pm to 8pm and Saturday from 12pm to 1:45pm at Oak Grove Church of God in Polkville.
Services will be 2pm Saturday at Oak Grove Church of God; interment will be in the Church Cemetery.
Services are entrusted with Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton.
