Mary Mallery

Mary Ann Mallery, 77, passed away on Tuesday, November 8, 2022 surrounded by her loving family.  A memorial graveside service will be held 10:00 am Monday, November 14, 2022, at Crestview Memorial Gardens in Brandon, MS.  Rev. Trey Jones will officiate her services.  Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS.

Mrs. Mallery was born in Cascilla, MS on November 7, 1945, to Earl Harvey Wheat and Florence Whitten Wheat.  Mary lived in Natchez, MS for many years before moving to Rankin County.  She retired from the Rankin County School District, teaching elementary students of the McLaurin School district.

Survivors include her sons, Eric Mallery and Greg Mallery and wife Laura; grandchildren, Seth Mallery, Erin Mallery and Sean Mallery; brother, Earl Wheat; several nieces; and sister-in-law, Caroly Jane Olive.  She was preceded in death by her parents, and husband, Joel Watson Mallery.
