Mary Alice Russell, 90, passed away suddenly and peacefully on Sat. June 10, 2017 at her home in Brandon, MS. Visitation will be held on Tues. June 13, 2017 from 10am-10:45am at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Funeral Services are 11am on Tues. June 13, 2017 at the Ott & Lee Funeral Home Chapel in Brandon, MS with burial in the Lakewood South Cemetery in Jackson, MS.
Mrs. Russell was a long time resident of Jackson and Brandon, MS. She enjoyed gardening and keeping her home in immaculate condition “for you never know who might drop in”. Mrs. Russell was a longtime member of Parkway Baptist Church in Clinton, MS.
She was preceded in death by her husband, J. Lloyd Russell and her parents, Hughie and Martha “Dutch” Boyles. Survivors include her sister, Marguerite Boyles; longtime devoted “adopted sister”, Wilda Laird and numerous cousins.
The family would also like to give a special thanks to Connie Jones and all members of Faith Sunday School Class for their love and attention to all of our needs.
