Mary Ruth Pinter

Mary Ruth Pinter, age 92, died Wednesday, October 4, 2023 following an extended illness.

Funeral services will be held at 12pm Saturday, October 7, 2023, from the chapel of the OTT & LEE Funeral Home in Forest with interment in the High Hill Cemetery near Walnut Grove.  Visitation will be held from 10am till the service time on Saturday.  Dr.Matthew White will officiate.

She was born on March 6, 1931, in Neshoba County to her parents James Walter Page and Nealy Ezell Page.  She was a homemaker.  She was a member of Magnolia Heights Baptist Church.  She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them.  She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Johnny Pinter, daughters Debra Pinter and Jill Harrison.  She was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Kimberly Harrison Dilmore.

Survivors include her children; Johnny Ruth McDaniel (Jimmy), Carl Pinter (Melissa), Susan White (Hilton), Kathy Allen, Mark Pinter (Jodie), and Stacey Glaze (Lloyd); sister, Dot Renfroe.  She also leaves behind a legacy of grandchildren:  Brent Pinter, Matthew White (Leslie), Ashley Glaze Watkins (Cody), Alyssa Glaze McCrory (Cole), John Mark Pinter, Abby Pinter, Carson Pinter, Carlie Edwards, and Misty Stennis.  In addition, her legacy includes 4 great-grandchildren; Audrey Ann White, Ripley White, Katelyn Pinter, and Noah Watkins.

Pallbearers are John Mark  Pinter, Cody Watkins, Carson Pinter, Cole McCrory, Charlie Russell, Lloyd Glaze, and honorary pallbearers are Jimmy McDaniel and Hilton White.
