Mary Claudine Sessums, 98, passed away Mon. Dec. 30, 2013 at her home in Jackson, MS. Visitation will be held Fri. Jan. 3, 2014 from 1pm-2pm at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Funeral Services are 2pm Fri. Jan. 3, 2014 at the funeral home with burial in the Fuston Cemetery in Walnut Grove, MS.
Miss Sessums was born in Walnut Grove, MS and has lived in Jackson, MS since 1945. She retired after 50 years of service as an office manager with the State Auditor’s Office and also worked for an additional 3 years after retiring.
Miss Sessums is survived by her two nieces, Ann Tullos and Rosemary Hamilton; two nephews, Dempsey Cunningham and Bill McClain; three great-nephews, Bryan McClain, James Tullos and Richard Tullos; her dear friends, Carolyn Spann, Eugene Spann, Keith Tanner and George Barnett and family. She is also survived by a host of loved ones and friends.
