Mrs. Mary Sumrall Waggoner, age 90, a resident of Morton went to be with the Lord on January 2, 2012 at the Scott Regional Hospital in Morton. Visitation was held 3-5pm Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton. Funeral service was held 11am Thursday, January 5, 2012 from the Ott & Lee Chapel in Morton with burial in the Hodge Hill Cemetery. Bro. Paul Smith officiated the services. Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton.

Mrs. Waggoner had been a resident of MS Care Center for the past three years. She was born on November 26, 1921 in Scott County to Henry and Josie Parker. She loved to work in her yard and was known for growing her day lilies. Mary loved her little dog, Jodie, very much. She will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.

She is preceded in death by her first husband, Otho R. Sumrall and 2nd husband, Cyril Waggoner; son, James Robert Sumrall; parents, Henry and Josie Parker; brothers, Richard (Dick), John and Arlie Parker.

She is survived by her daughter, Mary Helen Milner (Billy W.) of Madison; sister, Ruby Parker Holmes of Morton, 3 grandchildren, Brian Milner (Liz), Mark Milner (Michelle) and Misti Sumrall; 3 great grandchildren, Jessica, Ashley and Rodney Milner and a host of friends.

Pallbearers were Brian Milner, Mark Milner, Guy Waggoner Jr., Jim Measells, Bro. Paul Smith and Davis Holmes.

Memorials may be made in her honor to the Ms. Care Center of Morton.
