Mary Louise Thornton

Mary Louise Watson Thornton, 79, a resident of Brandon, MS, passed away Wed. Aug. 26, 2020 at St. Dominic Memorial Hospital in Jackson, MS. Visitation will be held on Thurs. Aug. 27, 2020 from 4pm-7pm at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Graveside Services will be 2:30pm on Fri. Aug. 28, 2020 at Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Pearl, MS.

Mrs. Thornton was born on July 31, 1941 in Laurel, MS to the late F.L. and Minnalee Laurendine Watson.

She is survived by her husband Robert Leon Thornton; son, Robert Leon Thornton Jr. (Melissa); two daughters, Paula Marie Godson and Rosemary Elise Thornton Langley (Stephen); two sisters, Betty Jo Collins (Bob), Ann Marie Morris (Glynn) and 10 grandchildren. Mrs. Thornton is also preceded in death by a brother, William Watson.
