Hunter Lane Reid, joined the heavenly angels and sitting on Jesus lap on Tuesday, August 10, 2021. Visitation will be held Friday, August 13, 2021 from 9am-1:30pm at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton. Chapel services will be held Friday at 2pm from the Ott & Lee Chapel in Morton with burial in Morton Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Bro. Timmy Jolly will officiate the services Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton.
Hunter was born in Jackson, MS on October 29, 2019, he was only 21 months old when his angel wings were ready. He was a happy baby and loved taking baths. Playing with his Bubba and Bubby was one of his favorite things to do. When it came to eating he loved some different foods, pizza and ketchup sandwiches and bread with dip on it. He was known to walk up to you and head butt you and laugh about it. He loved being outside playing in the sand, swimming, playing and sliding. He thought he was as big as his brothers when it came to baseball and he would try to hit the ball off the Tee. His kisses and hugs will never be forgotten and his beautiful smile will never fade away. He will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.
He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Wallace Prestage; step grandmother, Ruby Prestage; grandmother, Mae Jean Putnal and uncle, Keith Puckett.
He is survived by his parents, Jimmy and Tonya Reid of Morton; 2 brothers, Zachary and Landon Reid of Morton; grandmother and grandfather, Gail and Ricky Myers of Morton, grandmother, Lois Shoemaker of Pelahatchie; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Pallbearers will be Cody Edwards, Gabriel Burnside, Kendall Puckett and Toby Wood. Honorary pallbearers will be Zachary Reid and Landon Reid.
