Mattie Norman

Mrs. Mattie K. Norman, age 96, a resident of Richland, passed away on Monday, November 21, 2022, in Jackson, MS. Born on May 31, 1926, in Smith County MS to Gilbert and Alphia Frith Easterling. After completing high school, Mrs. Mattie continued her education to become a nurse. A Christian by faith, Mrs. Mattie was a member of Barefoot Springs Baptist Church.

Preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Alford A. Norman. Survived by two children, Johnny Burnham, his wife, Lacey and daughter, Betty Killebrew: two sisters; three grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Visitation will be 9:00am to 10:45am Friday November 25, 2022, A Funeral Service will be followed at 11:00am in the chapel at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton, MS. Burial will be in Barefoot Springs Cemetery.
