Mrs. Christine Trest, age 98, a resident of the Leesburg Community passed away on Friday, March 22, 2019 at Mississippi Care Center in Morton.  Visitation will be held 4pm-7pm Sunday, March 24, 2019 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton.  Services will be held 2pm Monday, March 25, 2019 from the Ott & Lee Chapel in Morton with burial in Leesburg Church of Christ Cemetery.  Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton.

Mrs. Christine was born in Leake County on October 23, 1920.  She enjoyed being outdoors working in her garden and doing yard work.  Christine loved to quilt.  She loved her family and grandkids and will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Obie Lee Trest; parents, Robert Julius Prestage and Ida Mary Settelmire Prestage; siblings, Grace Barnes, Mace Kyzar, Willie Jones, Mary Jones, Robert Prestage and JC Prestage.

She is survived by her son, Jimmy Trest of Leesburg; 2 grandchildren, Gatlin & Justin Trest; a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Pallbearers will be Nick Massey, Mike Richards, Terry King, John Prestage, Roger Allen and Scott Prestage.  Honorary pallbearers will be Buddy Squires and Bobby Massey.
