Maurice Dooley

Visitation: Wednesday, April 4, 2012, from 5pm until 8pm at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Richland and at 10am Thursday, April 5, 2012 until the service at 11am in the chapel Interment: Holly Grove Cemetery in Braxton, MSMaurice P. Dooley, of Braxton, 65, passed away on Monday, April 2, 2012 at Baptist Hospital in Jackson. Visitation will be held 5-8 pm Wednesday and 10 am Thursday at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Richland. The funeral service will be held at 11 am Thursday at the chapel of Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Richland. Maurice was born January 6, 1947 in Anguilla, MS. He was a graduate of Florence High School and was a sergeant in the U. S. Marine Corps, having served two tours of duty in Vietnam. Maurice received medals and honors including the Presidential Unit Citation. He retired from Bell South with 31 years of service. Maurice is survived by his wife, Judy Q. Dooley; daughter, Amanda Cooper (Chris) of Hattiesburg; son, Jeffrey Dooley of Braxton; brother, Martin E. Dooley, Jr. of Collinsville; sister, Annette Cagle of Richland; many nieces and nephews and his precious granddaughter, Kara Christine Cooper of Hattiesburg.
