Maxie Sellers

Maxie Gerl Sellers, Jr., 52, Pearl, MS passed away December 7, 2020.  Visitation will be Friday, December 11, 2020 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church in Brandon. Visitation will continue at First United Methodist Church in Brandon on Saturday, December 12, 2020 from 2:30 – 4:00 with Funeral Service beginning at 4:00 pm.
Maxie attended First United Methodist Church of Brandon.  He graduated from Raleigh HS and attended Co-Lin Community College. He was an active 4H member and showed cows for many years. He was one of the Founders and Scout Master of Troop 307.  He was shooting sports director for Andrew Jackson Council of the BSA. He was a Vigil honoree of The Order of the Arrow.  An avid deer hunter and very involved with his children’s activities, whether, baseball, Band, Soccer, Cross Country, Track, Scouts or anything else they enjoyed.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Maxie Gerl Sellers, Sr. and Jo Ann Dukes Sellers.  Grandparents Hurshell and Margie Creel Dukes and Annie Jane Robinson Sellers
He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Angela Morrow Sellers, sons, Ryan and James Sellers, daughter, Shana Sellers all of Pearl, sisters, Cecelia Sellers and Melissa May (Randy) of White Oak, Mother in Love, Martha Morrow of Pearl and lots and lots of cousins and friends.
