Mazelle James WigginsPolkvilleMazelle James Wiggins, 88, a resident of Polkville died Friday, October 04, 2013 at Bedford Care Center of Newton. A graveside service will be held 2 pm Sunday, October 6, 2013 at the Old Polkville Cemetery. Visitation will be held 5-8 pm Saturday, October 5, 2013 at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton. Rev. Scott Vaughn, Rev. Kenny Goff and Rev. Zach Kilpatrick will officiate the services. Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton will be in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Wiggins was a native of Smith Co. She was the daughter of Joe and Lollie Belle Richardson James. She was married to Daniel C. Wiggins. She was a member of the Oak Grove Church of God in Polkville. She was a proud member of the Gold Star Wives which were select wives of WWII Veterans. Mrs. Wiggins enjoyed gardening, visiting with neighbors and friends when she was able. She loved her cats, dogs and chickens. She loved her family very much and spending time with them brought great joy to her life. She will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.Mrs. Wiggins was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel C. Wiggins, parents, Joe and Lollie Belle Richardson James, sister, Odell Thornton and her son in law, Bill Norris.Mrs. Wiggins is survived by her daughter, Shirley D. Norris of Pearl; son, Glenn Wiggins and his wife Melissa of Polkville; sister, Joann Gray and her husband Lloyd of Polkville; 2 grandchildren, April Sensing and her husband Terry of Brandon, Benjamin Wiggins of Polkville, 1 great-grandchild, Abigail Sensing of Brandon; nephews, Michael Gray of Polkville, Randy Gray of Pearl; niece, Sylvia Bradshaw of Polkville and a host of friends.
